As part of the Building Performance Exchange, BE+ curated and influenced three sessions on decarbonizing large existing buildings: Stories of Decarbonizing Multi-family Buildings, Decarbonizing Non-Profit Buildings, and Retrocommissioning for Existing Buildings.
Stories of Decarbonizing Multi-family Buildings, a session sponsored by Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, highlighted three projects from the BE+ 2025 Green Building Showcase. From duct sealing, to heat pumps, to packaged terminal units, participants learned scaled approaches to upgrading building performance and achieving energy savings.
